Its been awhile...

Hey everyone. Its been awhile since I posted anything on here. I have been busy trying to get a promotion and well just work has been really busy during the holidays.
so recently ive been playing my Xbox 360 here and there and well I finally got the red ring of death! Yes it really sucks! Plus I bought it like 6 months ago refurbished to I don't believe it is under warranty. So I decided to turn it off for a day and keep it in a cool place in case it overheated or something (which i know its a hrdware problem) and turned it on the next day and it came on sound but no video. I used my brother in-law's video cable to make sure that it wasn't the cable and indeed it was not the cable. Well some crazy person with lots of time on their hands has a method called the "Towel Method"



And yes you wrap your 360 with like 3 towels and let it run for like 20-30 min. Now i'm pretty knowledgable with computers and I personally would never do this to a computer type device because i know how bad over heating is but this ACTULLY worked hehe and now i've been playing my Xbox 360 for about a week now so if in need and desperate (no warranty or don't want to wait for microsoft) do the towel trick. Make sure to find the actual instructions on how to do it correctly though. This was just a brief summary of my story. Well that was my story for the start of the new year.
